The second workshop of the Hawaiʻi Governor Josh Greenʻs WGA Chair initiative, Health Beyond Healthcare, will be held in Jackson, Wyoming, on October 8 and 9. This workshop, hosted by Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon, will explore strategies to improve mental health access and delivery by addressing workforce shortages and the well-being of the western workforce.

The 2027 WGA Chair initiative of Hawaiʻi Governor Josh Green will focus on strengthening mental health outcomes across the West by addressing clinical care and the broader conditions that shape mental health and well-being. To advance this vision, the initiative will examine strategies to improve mental health access and delivery, prioritize prevention and early intervention, expand coverage and affordability of mental health services and supports, and build lifelong well-being and community resilience.
